The section presents ownership marks of Kyiv bookbinders and bookbinding workshops that have survived on book editions. Usually they are located on endpapers, have the form of seals or stickers. Traditionally, books in the 19th century were issued without a frame, only with a cover - the owner had to order a binding according to his taste and desire. In Kyiv at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th centuries there were quite a few bookbinding workshops. As well as large and successful printing houses had special binding units. But far from everyone had their own sign. Most of the university old library’s editions have bindings with the letters L.K.P.I. - "Library of the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" and this is a sign of the active cooperation of Kyiv bookbinders with the educational institution.
